Solea Coast Resort Panglao ★★★★

The selling point of this resort is the amazing view from the room. We could see half of the ocean and the other half was jungle - just beautiful. Watching the sunset from there is stunning. Housekeeping did a good job. Beds are comfortable and the room was quite spacious. The breakfast buffet was pretty good and changed everyday. Pretty good value for money. It never felt too crowded during our stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially our driver Jeremiah did a great job. We booked an island hopping tour and an airport transfer via the resort. Both for a fair price. Since the hotel is 2km away from the city center we were renting a scooter. There is free parking available within the resort. We had a very good time staying at Solea Coast.

I wrote them a day before on booking.com about picking us from the airport but didn't receive an answer to my question. Checking-in wasn't possible even tho it was passed 15:00 (which is check-in time). We were told our room isn't ready yet.

Solea is a hidden gem. The location has its upsides and downsides. It is a little far away from the town center but that makes it secluded with very little noise. Another upside is that there was easy access to boating services from the shore such as island hopping trips. In addition, I really how cozy and beautiful the rooms were. The view from the roof top deck was exquisite. There were some beautiful sunsets you could see from there. The food and drink offerings from the roof top bar was excellent.

The amenities, the pool, the restaurant were all good. We appreciate the free room upgrade.

I feel that the rate is way too expensive compared to other location. There are parts of the property that you can see the walls of the property beside as there is no firewall, it is an eyesore. The TV is outdated, NO NETFLIX. The room slippers were nice but cannot be taken home. The breakfast buffet option can still be improved.

beach location is not that satisfying.. hope they could do something to improve it

I like their house-keeping, they clean the room as soon as we leave the resort for lunch. the bed is nice and comfortable and i like the design of the room (minimalist).

I booked 1 deluxe room and Premier deluxe room but given 2 deluxe rooms. However, my request for the room to be close together was granted. Also, 3pm check in and 11am check out is not fair.

Brilliant spacious resort with nice big pool with bar and beach access,fantastic rooms,clean comfortable and nice view,added toiletries like comb, shavers on-top of usual shampoo toothbrush etc, friendly staff,tasty food in restaurant, good value resort

Too far frim city. No where near for a shooping or paaalubong stuff. But the place ia excellent. Huge place, lots of piol and space ia excellent.

Impossible de dormir Porte de passage vers la Chambre voisine fermée mais pas insonorisée. Voisins matinaux, bruyants, on entendait la douche, les Toilettes et les conversations.
